teaching methods of the teachers
The teaching method used by teachers in SMP Pembangunan depends on the learning ability of the students. The teachers are using various teaching strategies to cater the needs of diverse learners.

Most of the teachers are using the student-centered approach in which the teacher only acts as a facilitator of the teaching and learning process. Teachers use the philosophy of John Dewey in which the students easily acquire the lessons by learning by doing. After the instruction, students are able to apply their learning on the activities provided by the teachers. Discovery Approach is also used in which the students will discover their own effective way of learning. And also the Direct Approach, the traditional way of teaching in which the teacher is the main source of information during the class discussion.

The teachers uses various learning materials to make learning more meaningful. There are sports equipment's and musical instruments which can be used by both teachers and students in the process of learning. Teachers also uses modules, worksheets and etc. The teachers also provide simulation games wherein the students will enjoy and at the same time learn the content of the lesson. Videos and picture analysis are also used to further explain the lesson. The usage of learning materials depends on the topic being discussed.
sources of learning and technology used by teachers
The sources of learning in SMP Pembangunan are based on the curriculum that they are using. However, the main source of learning is the book. Some of the books are provided by the government and some are owned by the school.

SMP Pembangunan has a variety of sources of learning materials which is accessible by all students and teachers. The school has a library that provides reading materials to be a source of learning. There are also laboratories, computer laboratory room, provided that will aid the instruction.

The school make use of the technology in delivering the lessons. Mostly, classrooms has their own projectors and speakers that aids the instruction. Through these, students can easily cope and acquire the lesson being tackled.

Authentic assessment is used by the teachers to evaluate the acquisition of knowledge gained by the students and also to monitor their learning progress. The teachers provide authentic assessments such as performances, role plays, speech, debates and etc. Through this, the learning progress of the students will be easily monitored.

In the video below, my cooperating teacher is demonstrating on how the students should properly execute the skill. And then after, the students will be the ones who will execute the skills and they will be graded based on their performance.
