DAY 6 | 1st ASEAN Teachers and Students Seminar of SHS 10 Padang, West Sumatra

We went to SMA 10 which is a school for Senior High School students.

We are very lucky because we are invited to join the 1st ASEAN Teachers and Students Seminar of SHS 10 Padang, West Sumatra.

One of the speakers of the Seminar was a senior high school student from SMA 10. He was born in the year 2001.

In this day, I’ve met Lido and Nisa and two lecturers from their school. They are both Senior High School students and both leaders in their school.



After all the speakers had delivered their speech, there was a Q&A portion regarding of what they have discussed. And also a workshop wherein all of us in the table had shared our thoughts regarding the theme of the event “Youth Strategies in Industrial Revolution Part 4.0: Challenges, Opportunities and How to Survive”.

I’ve learned a lot about the Indonesian Education. I also discovered that the schools here in Indonesia are now using the Curriculum 2013.

Morover, the Senior High School Students of SMA 10 are the ones who organized the seminar and one of them was one of the speakers in the seminar. At young age, Senior high School students are capable of handling and organizing such prestigious event.

On the same day, we had a birthday surprise for one of the PH SEA Teachers and Indonesian Buddies.
